Exhibiting art work not to decorate walls but to break them down

Our concept is that of a POP-UP Art Gallery, originating from Berlin, Europe's art metropolis. We felt it was time to bring this concept to England, The city we have chosen to Launch this concept in is Leicester, due to its multicultural population. Our first POP-UP exhibition was a success, we collaborated with the Highcross using one of the empty shops they offered us. We will be POPPING- UP in empty shops each month.

Art for change will be an ongoing event within Leicestershire POPPing up in empty shops and branching out to towns, villages and cities. We are creating an interaction between not only the artists, local youth groups, and the general public, but also local businesses in this current climate of economic instability.

The concept of THE BIG SOCIETY are the foundations for any community to function with solidarity and unity, by fueling projects and individuals, fueling the potential with in the city we are in, through appropriate creative input and interaction, all facilitated by ART FOR CHANGE.
